What We Stand For?

 

Our rescue shop is birthed from the rescue and all of the rescues own values! This means there are a number of values are a must and a number are things we will not tolerate or associate with! 

For example because the rescue has birthed the shop, from a place of need and passion, we want to be able to not only help fund and keep Guinea Garden alive through our shop, but we also want to help do the same for so many other rescues. We are fully aware of the struggles and difficulties faced within a rescue, of which was the reason for the rescue shop, but these struggles are what makes us understand the struggles within every single rescue, guinea pig or not, and for that it's upmost important that we keep this close to our hearts and support rescues from all backgrounds at every possible moment. This isn't something we compromise on, and in fact is one of the most important aspects of the rescue shop! 

Due to running the rescue for so long too, and learning all of the dietary requirements for guinea pigs and rabbits, while watching pet shops sell such inappropriate pet treats and foods, advertised to as many animals as possible just to gain a profit, has been heart breaking. Expecially seeing animals come through our doors and been fed items that are 'safe' when in actual fact that can cause a long list of health problems, and in many cases do, has been a real driving force behind our rescue shop! We want to offer foods which without a thought are 100% catered and designed for that animal! Not only safe, but down to vitamin and mineral content, and nutrients, completely balanced to what is needed and in what amounts it's needed. This is a no compromise for us! Even if it costs more money for us to make, we are making it, because it's so unfair that those animals completely suffer in the long run just for other shops and sellers to comprise the animals dietary needs for profit! We will not do that! 

What Are The Benefits Of Guinea Garden Rescue Shop? 

 We've touched on a couple of benefits, things we can offer than NO ONE else can! We can offer treats and foods catered to the animals, and this isn't just from research or working mainstream with animals. This is from working directly with those animals, and for along time. It's also because we've worked with those animals from a place of welfare, giving us the extreme edge, to know exactly what a diet does and does not do for that animal. Giving us a more tuned knowledge of their diets from a welfare presepevtive and knowing more than, even vets etc, on what these animals need and don't and how much and how often. Our knowledge is fine tuned because of the work we do depending on the welfare of these animals magnified. We also align and work directly with other rescues and work hard to try and help all rescues that we can, whether that be donating rescue packs or money, we do this on every order we make, as well as donating to Guinea Garden Rescue and keeping the rescue up and running here, so you know your always recieving the best, because we aren't trying to take short cuts and save money, because we want to make a profit. Our goal, and ethos is based on a passion to help guinea pigs here and keep doing so, and help other rescues to achieve the same! The rescue shop is formed, built, and expanding from a personal, and fundermental place, in which to help these animals, live a life of purpose and achieve happiness through kindness, and a spiritual content, and not from a place of greed, need, and want! Where greed corrupts, a passion to build a platform based on love, kindness and care can only have ongoing positive effects to everyone who orders from us! Every decision we make within the rescue itself or the rescue shop is based upon welfare and the upmost care of animals! This means every ingredient we put into our treats and more, is suitable for both guinea pigs and rabbits. What determines the content density is guinea pigs and rabbits nutritional and health needs and a balance to make the perfect combination perfect for both animals, to ensure the best possible health factor. How we sell, and offers we make, and things we do for the rescue shop is all based on the welfare and not on how to make money or make sales, unlike how other businesses run. We are not a business, we are a rescue. We sell to help fund that rescue, and the passion we have to care and continue to care, and help animals is the core and most fundamental belief and reality behind the rescue shop itself! The welfare of animals is the primary and foundation of the rescue, and therefore is so for the rescues shop. Where every decision made is based purely on welfare of animals, with a rescue mindset over a business mindset, your ensuring short cuts aren't taken, providing less of a product in any sense, in return for profit.
