Terms and conditions (Surrender)

I declare that the animal/s been surrendered to Guinea Garden are my pets and I am not surrendering any one else's pets without their knowledge. 

I'm declaring that the guinea pigs or other surrendered animal in my care, cannot stay in my care due to impact on the animals welfare or my own and I cannot continue caring for the animal/s. 

I declare that I cannot continue to care at home while Guinea Garden helps re-home on my behalf. 

I am signing over all care rights of the animal named above to Guinea Garden.

I understand that whilst Guinea Garden will do their best to adhere to personal requests for said surrendered animal, that it is also in the interest for Guinea Garden to make decisions that go against requests as the previous owner, where it will be beneficial to the animals and the rehabilitation, re-homing, and overall need of the rescue and animal/s now within Guinea Gardens care! 

Guinea Garden will do their utmost to rehome animals together, who are surrendered together, however experience and the unpredictability of animals may cause and effect the ability to be rehomed together, such as fallings out between animals. Therefore Guinea Garden cannot guarantee rehoming together.  

I agree to surrender guinea pig/s, and if I can, I will support the rescue with a £30 donation, to help cover board, food, medical etc on arrival, unless exempt met by the emergency criteria, under the discretion of Guinea Garden. 

I agree that I am automatically agreeing to all the terms and conditions on completing the form or when I complete a handover of the animals. 

I agree to provide Guinea Garden with photos and descriptions in detail so they can advertise and work on finding the animal a new home. 

I agree to set an appropriate adoption fee for the animals. 

I understand that the adoption fee will be managed by Guinea Garden and will go through them first! 

I understand that I'm entitled to 50% of the adoption fee, and Guinea Garden will send it in the appropriate and discussed method of payment. 

I understand that Guinea Garden is entitled to 50% of the adoption fee, for the time and resources of the rescue work, as a donation fee towards the rescue! 

I agree to send photos of their living conditions to the Guinea Garden to ensure the animals are kept under good care. 

If Guinea Garden suspects neglect in any way, I understand that it is their duty to report the situation to the appropriate authorities or take into their own care if possible. 

I understand that rehoming could take any amount of time and I am dedicated to caring for the animal during that time. 

I will keep Guinea Garden updated or any external adoptions or potential adoptions. 

I understand that even though Guinea Garden will help find a new home, I am still solely responsible for the animal/s, and the adoption ultimately falls on me and my own arrangements. Guinea Garden is only here to help.
